Here is a digital picture I took with my phone when I was shooting the picture for the Converter show. The mostly black form on the tripod is my 4x5 camera. The fabrics are hung over a piece of black foamcore and the light I'm using is a simple adjustable desk lamp. I would expose the film once and move the camera to a different angle over another piece of fabric and expose the same film again. Each shot was about 4-8 different exposures. I made about 12 shots over the course of 3 evenings of shooting. The final image was scanned and color corrected and cropped in photoshop.
